About Us:
OKAHSA
Mission
The Oklahoma Association of Homes and
Services for the Aging is the Oklahoma state association of
not-for-profit organizations dedicated to establishing the
highest standards of excellence for services to the aging in
Oklahoma. OKAHSA’s purpose is to be supportive of each member
organization’s quest for excellence.
OKAHSA’s
membership consists exclusively of not-for-profit providers
and remains the only state association that represents the
interests of providers throughout the continuum of care:
nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, residential
care facilities, adult day service providers, independent
living and continuum of care retirement communities. The
membership is comprised of over 100 providers of aging
services, all mission-driven organizations providing services
and housing for the elderly in Oklahoma.
OKAHSA
provides education, advocacy, and a network for organizations
committed to serving the needs of the elderly in Oklahoma.
OKAHSA is the state affiliate of the American
Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) whose
membership totals nearly 6,000 not-for-profit providers of
aging services across the nation.
Experience
the Not-for-Profit Difference
Not-for-profit providers are different.
We’re not driven by next quarter’s profits, variations in the
markets, short-term objectives, or shareholders. We have a
different perspective. We’re driven by mission. That means we
take a long view. Toward our consumers. Our communities. Our
capacity to serve. And our reputation as
caregivers.
